Attribute disabled in configuration tool

Is there any way of making an attribute name and type editable?

NB: I wanted to copy the table structures of an existing app but completely transfer into Aware IM, so I did the following for each table:

1. Added a new BO
2. Change the Persistence to "existing external"
3. Add the connection to the external data source
4. Discover the attributes
5. Changed Persistence back to Aware IM automatic
6. Save

It work well until I wanted to change the name and types of some of the attributes.

You cannot change name and type if an attribute was created from an existing table. So in your situation you need to delete the attribute and create it again

I'm unable to delete the attribute and recreate. 🙁

This also causes an issue where an attribute name matches a reserved word.(fails the integrity check)

I'm happy with the idea that we can not add, delete or change attribute names and types while the BO is tied to/using an external source.

But as the BO is now persisted as Aware IM automatic(i.e. is now internal to Aware IM) and is not tied to/using the external data source, I therefore believe we should be able to change the attribute names and types.

NB: once I change the persistence of the BO to Aware IM automatic I'm allowed to add/change new attributes and this works perfectly. 😃 but not for the others 🙁

Version 5.1a(Build 1462) corrected the problem.
