Attribute Styles In Query

Hello,

I am running AwareIM 5.1 Professional (build 1446) and, from my understanding, we should be able to color individual cells based on their value in a standard query table. I can get the text inside the cell to be bold but I can't change the color of the cell or the color of the text. I know I can color the entire row based on the value of a cell but I just need to color a single cell based on its value. Is this a bug or am misunderstanding something?

Here's what I enter for the attribute styles

Applicability Condition:

Product.Status='Approved' OR Product.Status CONTAINS 'Approved'

Style String:

background: #009999;color:#003399;font-family:Arial Black;font-weight:bold;font-style:italic;

What are you getting? Are any of the style attributes recognized? Did you check the actual styling applied to the cell in the browser itself?

I am getting just a bold italic type but the cell background does not change. So yes, some styles are being honored but the background color and the font color is not.

what do you mean by "the actual styling applied to the cell in the browser itself?"? do you mean using firebug or something along those lines to check the css being applied to the cell?

Yes, every modern browser includes a tool that allows checking the CSS setting anywhere on the screen.

Ok. I figured it out. When I go to an attribute in a BO and go to presentation->styles->background color: I choose a color and also chose bold italic. After that the Style String text field showed:

background:#66ff66;font-family:Arial Black;font-weight:bold;font-style:italic;

When I ran the query the text came up bold italic but the background color did not change. I inspected with firebug and found out that the HTML that was being produced had an extra "#" character in front of the color code. So long story short.... remove the "#" from the style string text box and everything works fine.
