Importing Appointment Object

I have a new project that would require me to pull delivery schedule data and date records from an ERP system and then somehow publish it on a web based Calendar View. Is this possible in AwareIM? Has anyone done something similar in the past?

I can create a business object linked to an external source that has all the scheduled delivery records. Just dont know how to go about importing them to an Appointment object type so it can be displayed on a calendar view.

Any input is appreciated.

I would just create a scheduled job that runs a process that copies new delivery records across to the appointment BO. Hopefully you can use an unused attribute on your delivery BO that can be used to mark the records as having been copied across.

Note: If your delivery records can change after having been copied across to the appointment BO then I would write a stored procedure to update the details between the two BOs, that being the internal AwareIM BO and the existing external BO rather than use a process within AwareIM. Much simpler!
