There is a way to do this but it's not trivial. You need to define an HTML cell on your form with the following HTML:
<script>
if (parser.getRecurrenceInfo() != null)
{
// do something
}
</script>
This represents a Javascript code that checks whether the current form has recurrence. The script is run when the form is displayed. The code inside the curly brackets is supposed to do whatever you like to highlight the form. One approach is to define another HTML cell somewhere that would define a "highlighting element" initially hidden:
<div id="some unique id" style="display:hidden">
Some highlighting here
</div>
The code would then enable the element:
<script>
if (parser.getRecurrenceInfo() != null)
{
document.getElementById ("some unique id").style = "display:block";
}
</script>
