Rule that marks email as read when it opened

Is it possible to construct rule that marks email as read when it(email) is opened?

I have not used AwareIM to process incoming emails, but I do not believe AwareIM manages the 'read' process.

You would have to add your own attribute to manage this process & have the user execute a process to read the email. In that process a rule would set the EmailRead attribute accordingly.

You mean "mark as read" process like in sample apps. It is very very uncomfortable for user to press "mark as read" button every time he reads it while users are used to that it happens automatically in every known email applications.

Instead of using a normal EDIT or VIEW to view the email I would create a process to view the email and within this process set the "Mark as Read" before the VIEW
