Import Problem

I have a CSV file with 734 records. When I import the file to an AwareIM object only 302 of the records get imported. There are four log errors involving data in a CSV record being larger than the object attribute. Those four records are imported with the truncated attribute - a free form notes field. No other errors are reported and the import process reports successful conclusion.

I can import the same CSV into an Excel file and all 734 records are imported.

How can I determine why more than half the records are not being imported?

Are you using IN BATCHES OF? Perhaps it's a memory issue?

Never mind.

What I found was that if I sorted the file on the 1st field all 734 records import. I have no rule involving that field as yet and it is not a 'key' field but sorted it works and random order does not work.
