I am working on a scheduling application that will allow for recurring appointments and multiple StaffMember attendees.
I started with the CRM sample application and I am customizing it from there. Most everything is working as expected except for one problem...
Whenever I create a recurring appointment on the calendar and assign an employee to the appointment, the future recurring events no longer reference that employee BO. This prevents me from changing the future events date and time if necessary and doesn't allow for any editing of future events.
Everytime I attempt to edit the calendar event to add a Employee BO I get this error message -> "java.lang.ClassCastException"
I need the calendar to allow me to change individual events in a recurring cycle to allow for different dates and times of individual events as well as different staff assigned to individual events.
I would also like the ability to change an entire string of recurring events for future events "moving forward" and not effect the prior events (if possible - I am thinking I will need a workaround for this)
I would also like to be able to drag events from a calendar view and have the events automatically separate themselves from recurring events and become one time events.
I'm setup with Virtual Recurrences.
I'm not sure where to even start looking for the answer to the main question and that is how to get rid of the "java.lang.ClassCastException" error message and get the calendar to work well with recurring events.
I know something is off with my app...
