Trying to make a simple way to allow customers to download their data from certain BOs.
We have usually done a process:
DELETE FILE '/AwareIM/customerlist.csv'
DELETE FILE SystemSettings.CustomerDownload
FIND ALL Customer
EXPORT Customer TO '/AwareIM/customerlist.csv'
IMPORT DOCUMENT SystemSettings.CustomerDownload FROM '/AwareIM/customerlist.csv'
VIEW SystemSettings USING CustomerDownload
Now this all worked well when we had less than 1000 records in the Customer BO. But now we have exceed this, it appears that it will load the first 1000 records and then do the VIEW action. It will then keep loading the next 1000 records and update the file (so it is eventually correct) but by then it is too late as the user has already downloaded the file with just the first 1000 records.
Questions:
a) can we change rule priority on the process so the VIEW doesn't happen until ALL records are loaded?
b) does someone have a neat (other) way of doing this? We like the above method because it is simple to maintain - if we add fields to the BO the FIND ALL and EXPORT still picks them all up. So having a report that displays as XLS would not be suitable here.
