Negated IN expression is not supported in queries

In Users Guide is written:
Negated IN expression is not supported in queries. For example, the following expression is not suppored:
FIND Event WHERE NOT(LoggedInMember IN Event.Participants)
In many cases the negated IN expression can be replaced by
using the equivalent COUNT or EXISTS expression, for example:
FIND Event WHERE COUNT Member WHERE(Member IN Event.Participants AND Member=LoggedInMember) = 0

So I transformed this rule for subquery that is in OjectB

FIND ObjectA WHERE NOT(ObjectA IN OjectB.ObjectA)

into

FIND ObjectA WHERE COUNT ObjectA WHERE (ObjectA IN ThisOjectB.ObjectA)=0

But it doesnt work. What is my mistake?

Your query looks OK and should work. Check the log viewer for any clues. Object B may not be in the context or there is a problem with the data etc etc

Unfortunately doesnt work, I reproduced it in simple example with only two BOs.
You create 3 ObjectA.
Create Object B.
Add in ObjectB.ObjectA1 2 of 3 ObjectA.
Then it is expected to see remaining 1 ObjectA in ObjectB.ObjectA2.

Yes, there is only a custom query in ObjectA2

FIND ObjectA WHERE COUNT ObjectA WHERE (ObjectA IN ObjectB.ObjectA1)=0

I thought it is enough.

No, it's not enough.

If you post a sample BSV with rules that you say don't accomplish your goal, then I will take a look as time permits.

Dont understand why it is not enough.

There is a custom query in ObjectB.ObjectA2 in Presentation setting in Filter section.
I tried to change the rule in this custom query to:

FIND ObjectA WHERE ObjectA IN ObjectB.ObjectA1

And it works perfect, so I think there is mistake in rule or a bug.

I changed rule from:

FIND ObjectA WHERE COUNT ObjectA WHERE (ObjectA IN ObjectB.ObjectA1)=0

to:

FIND ObjectA WHERE COUNT ObjectB WHERE (ObjectB IN ObjectA.ObjectB)=0

But I unfortunately didnt understand why 1st rule doesnt work but 2n do.
