You might want to check out GET_CHANGES, the output is a little cryptic but it allow you to monitor all changes to all attributes without creating hundreds of rules.
An example of use:
If Client WAS CHANGED Then
CREATE ClientAudit WITH ClientAudit.Timestamp=CURRENT_TIMESTAMP,ClientAudit.InitiatedBy=LoggedInSystemUser.LoginName,ClientAudit.Changes=GET_CHANGES(Client),ClientAudit.Client=ThisClient,ClientAudit.ChangeType='Client'
