Fine enough, but you can align and size using keyboard shortcuts which are probably even easier than a toolbar.
Shift+l=Left
Shift+r=Right
Shift+b=Bottom
Shift+t=Top
You can also make equal size:
Shift+x=make same width
Shift+y=make same height
This is fast because you have to use Shift anyway to mutli-select your objects. Then it's just one more key to align.
