Why ref attribute is removed automatically

Hi!

Have 4 BOs in my case.
Card
Stage
Filez
Apps

Card is owner of Filez and Apps. Stage is owned by both Filez and Apps.

There are two rules

In Card BO
If EXISTS App WHERE (App.Stage=AddedApp.Stage AND App.ID<>AddedApp.ID AND App IN Card.App) Then

REPORT ERROR 'No two stages with same name'

Custom query in Stage attribute of Filez BO
FIND Stage WHERE Stage.App.Card=Filez.Card

So if you add App in Card BO entering stage='1st' then you can add Filez BO with the same stage='1st'.

Its all good to this point. But if you added Filez BO and then add one more Filez BO in Card BO with the same stage chosen, this stages automatically removed from previously added Filez BO to new added Filez BO and is left blanc although it is marked as required field. Why it happens? Could you share your opinion please.

Any ideas why it happens? I just dont understand the logic here.
