problem to connect AwareIM-5.1

I just upgraded AwareIM from 4.95 to 5.1(build 1425). Got a problem after upgrading -- the configuration tool which was installed on windows couldn't connect to AwareIM server which was installed on a Linux. I got an error message in a dialog box as follow:

Error establishing connection with the serve. ERROR:org.openadaptor.adaptor.jms.JMSSlink-init() failed with JMS Queue/Topic PublishException:org.openadaptor.adaptor.jms.PublishException:org.openadaptor.adaptor.jms.JMSPublisher-connect() failed with NamingException:javax.naming.CommunicationException:Receive timed out [Root exception is java.net.SocketTimeoutException:Receive timed out]

There was no such problem when AwareIM-4.95 was used and there is no this error when starting the Configuration Tool from server control panel on Linux now as well.

The Configuration Tool is an evaluation version. Could it be the problem?

Yes. Download a new version of the config tool and reinstall, be sure to follow the install instructions.

FYI, we have found some of the major upgrades do also require an upgrade of the config tool too, I can't remember specifically if 4.95 to 5 required it but I would bet that it's your problem. Good luck.
