Newbie: Menu Concepts?

Hi Folks

Currently I have a set of tabs shown all of he time just under the top menu - which reflect the functions of general operations for the software system.

I have several buttons on the top menu - say, 'QA' and 'New Entries'. New Entries does not affect the tabs as all of the sub menu commands create a new BO 'Create' tab of their own.

I'd like to have the button 'QA' hide the current set of tabs and replace it with another set of tabs appropriate to the QA functions.

I guess I'll also need another button to get back to the original set of tab's (probably 'General' or similar).

Q. Is this do-able in AwareIM?
Q. Is this about creating a different Visual Representation (currently all users are in the Admin level)?

Pointers to getting this working would be very much appreciated.

Have you explored DISPLAY PERSPECTIVE and DISPLAY LAYOUT actions?

So I guess I'll need to generate a new Perspective - yes? Then switch perspective with that button?

Yes, although DISPLAY LAYOUT offers a hybrid approach.[/quote]
