Process ask for value Input

I have a BO with the name "items" and a second BO with the name "items_ordered".

I have added an button to the form in the BO "items" which copies an selected item from "items" to "items_ordered" using an process with the command CREATE.

Now I want to ask the user a question within the process to enter a quantity of the selected item and store the input into the "items_ordered" files quantity.

Is there a solution?

Create a non-persisted object that will store the quantity. Display the form of this object to the user and then use the quantity stored in the attribute of this object.

Thx for the info, how do I create an non-persisted object ?
Do I need to store the value in a BO field?
Could you pls. give a example?

Select Persistence type of the object to be "Non-persisted". Please read the User Guide - helps sometimes... 🙂
