rocketman Time to give some thought to upgrading to MySQL 5.5 (from 5.0.45). Has anyone got an experience. Does the installer do an upgrade or do we have to create a new instance and import the tables and data. Any "Gotchas" to watch out for?
aware_support In our experience the upgrade is quite straightforward and there are no problems. Except one - some older Aware IM builds are incompatible with 5.5 and will not work. I cannot remember off the top of my head the build number with the fix (you can search this forum). To be on a safe side you need to update to the latest Aware IM build.
