Unknown system error - Reports

I have tried for days to get a simple report to run. I have been successful creating an Excel report but realize the limitations.

When I try to create even a simple three field document of type Report" using the template, inevitably I get "Unknown system error" when I run it. I am running Linux version for the server.

I am using the V5 eval version and have gone through the documents several times with the same outcome. About to throw in the towel.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you are using non-graphical Linux, reports may not be supported, because they require PDF's (which means graphics).

I am running the server on Linux Redhat with the Windows client piece. My whole application will need to run on Linux. Are you saying reports are not supported on Linux?

I dumped a simple PDF on my linux server and opened it just fine from a remote workstation via a browser, so I don't understand your suggestion that PDFs don't work in non-graphical-mode linux. Most of the web servers on the internet are linux and PDFs work fine.

Is there some way I can run a debug to see what maybe is going on? Thanks

Seems my issue with reports and presentations are related to Linux. Is anybody out there running Aware on Linux on a hosted service? My plan was to run it on a Private Virtual Server - Linux. Is anybody doing this? This is a show stopper for me if it cannot be done.
