Database BASDB

Please advice the procedure for the Database.

I use the developer license to develope the application for my client.
I also installed the Runtime License to my client server.
I export the BSV and copy to the Runtime License.
It worked perfectly in the Operation Mode.

Now my client user has entered some data. Are the actual data kept in BASDB? if not, where is actual database? It is safe just to backup the BASDB and replace it if anything happen? Any others thing I need to take note?

My client place always have Power Failure in few days. Will it affect AwareIM database?

My developer license also have other BSV too. If I copy the Actual Database of BASDB from my client server and transfer to my developer license. How to I read the database? Copy to BASDBTEST or replace BASDB?
The purpose is to enhance the system and test using the actual database before I update the new BSV to the client server. What should I do?

For backups you need to backup both BASDB and BASDBTEST. All data is stored in these databases.

If you want to transfer the data from your client's machine to your own machine, perform this procedure

Make sure that you have a business space on your machine that has the same BSV as the one of your client
Make sure that this business space is published or under test
Make sure that this is the ONLY business space that is published or under test
Transfer data from all tables that start with "BusinessSpaceName_" from the machine of your client to the corresponding table in the business space of your machine
Make sure that the value in the BAS_IDGEN table on your machine is greater or equal than the corresponding value on the client's machine
DO NOT touch any other tables

At which stage to BASDB and BASTEST to my machine in order to transfer the database over?

"Aware IM was unable to create or locate the databases it requires. Error message returned by the database is: Database create is not supported for this database"

I received this message when I start the developer server license...

please advice what should I do?

this is what i do...

using my developer license, I have create a new Business Space "Alpha" as same with my client and import the BSV into it. and publish it on my machine without any expired date.

I copy from my client machine of BASDB, BASTEST an DocTemplates.

I shut down AwareIM server, and copy those files to my machine and activate the server.

I managed to login to Alpha Business Space but AwareIM showed me 30 days expired. How come?

The business space has publish and I can go operation mode. I am able to view the live database same as my client pc.

now i need to change the current create a New or Major Version... which I need enhance the system.

Before I did anything, I switch to Business Space for testing mode in order to view on IE. When I view on the IE, all the live data gone. How come? I need the live data on the Testing Mode too.

Please advice further...

I have transfered my customer LiveData - BASDB and BASTEST.
