CSV File Import

Hi..

I have created a customer BO and my client has provide me a list of all their customer information...

I am in the process to import the customer listing to Customer BO.

How do I prevent any duplicate record of customer name being imported in?

Hi,
The easiest way is to scrub the data before you try to import it. Open your csv file in Excel and use built in tools to look for duplicates and then delete or merge. You can write rules to find and eliminate duplicates once data is imported but this is more work.
