Allowing a user to only edit records

I'd like to allow one type of the user (specialist) the ability to only edit records, never create them.

I have created a form for editing only and set the "specialistst" user however aware always tells me:

Input form for access level specialist not defined.

The only workaround I can see is removing the create new object from the visual perspective for that access level.

Is there another way?

You need to define a form that the system will use automatically for creation of an object of this access level - even if you are not going to use it. You just need to tick a box in the form editor
