Mobile application won't load in 3G mode

Hello all ,

I am hoping that one of you has experienced and solved this issue. When I access a AwareIM generated mobile application ( including the sample ones ) over Wifi no problem on both Iphone or Ipad. If I try and access the same apps over 3G all I get is some html raw code and nothing else will load in both Ipad or Iphone using Safari .

My 3G connection is with NextG Telstra Australia . Any other web surfing works well over 3G except for AwareIM .

It turns out that Telstra by default is using a proxy for mobile devices and it runs via their APN "telstra.iph" . This can be usually changed but Telstra via Itunes have disabled the access to it in the Iphone settings .
I found this website http://www.unlockit.co.nz where if you browse with your iphone you can modify the APN to another one for Telstra : "telstra.internet" .

I did this and AwareIM works now .
