Relation Data in BO

I have 2 related tables in MySQL.

When I try create a BO with the child table, a message box with an error is appear.
Attributes of a business object persisted in external database can only be discovered.

So, I ask: How to do a dropdown list, storing only ID of the child table in the parent table?
Something ID of a Product Type in a Product, using a connection MySQL.

Hi Christiano,

Generally speaking you should recreate your Mysql table structures in native AwareIM (Database AwareIM Automatic) and then import your data into the new Aware BO's, then the functionality you require will be available.

With External tables - ie one's that existed before you started developing in AwareIM, you are very limited in what you can do

Hi,

I'm a bit tied up today but start by reading up on how to import date into Aware (should be in the documents folder in your Aware Directory). Then recreate the table structures in AwareIM

Also search the forum for other posts on how to IMPORT
