I have created a BO with a reference BO of the appointment type. I am displaying the reference BO in a tab of its own using the new calendar display layout in an EDIT form of the parent BO. All well so far.

However I cannot overide the default "Add a new event" nor can I disable it, which would allow me to add my own own process.

When I use the new calendar style in a query you have the options to either disable the add event or use your own process. Finally if the reference BO is displayed as a list of items you can also overide defaults.

How can I do the same when displaying the reference BO using the new calendar style?

If its not possible now will V5 provide the same options for creating and editing appointments within an edit form display of a calendar as is provided for non appointment type BOs and also provided for appointment type BOs in a query?

Also I notice now that the EDIT button does not display for references in a list display in an appointment BO edit form displayed in calendar format.

Think I might see if V5 fixes all these calendar issues.

Just installed V5 and notice that although the manual states that when displaying references in a calendar style in a form you get similar options to those in a query you still don't. It seems you still cannot override the default add and edit calendar options with your own processes.

Is this an oversight? Do you intend to incorporate it soon or am I missing or doing something wrong. Can't see why you allow it in queries but not forms.
