Attribute Styles in Tables of items

I have defined a custom style on an attribute and verified it shows on that BO's main form. I also have the BO displayed as a table of items referenced from another BO, and I checked the "Use Attribute Styles" checkbox within the More Options dialog.

This didn't appear to work as I expected, no change in the cell/column of interest occurred. Do I misunderstand this functionality ?

For the sake of experiment can you try if this works in a query rather than a referenced table?

Ok. Here are the testing results; sort of works.

In query tables, Only the Font related options seem to work. Colors, borders, not so much. Not sure about alignment.

Reference tables appear to match this behavior.

ALSO, my applicability condition appears to fail. I want to use a style if a reference BO is set (A.B IS DEFINED). This doesn't work. Not surprising since item rules have this limitation, but you are told about it when you try to use it there.

Foreground/background color would be really nice to have.

Working against 4.95. Browser was Firefox.

Sometime I want to pull my hair out. The bittersweet AwareIM relationship continues.

I went with Italics in the editable table since it worked, then wanted to use the same representation in a PDF report. Conditional text elements in reports DO NOT honor the italics setting, as far as I can tell.

This works fine in our tests in version 5.0
