Open Office document from IE

I have a document attribute in a BO. When opening office documents (MS Word) that are saved to this attribute, IE fails to load and display the document. Seems to work ok in other browsers. This appears to related to MSKB issue located here:

Can anyone confirm an/or offer a resolution?

As far as I know Aware IM is not using the "no-cache" directive, so not sure what can be done here...

In further testing I have found this to be a document-centric problem. For example, the .doc file would not display, other .doc files do and I get the same mixed result with .docx files. In one instance, a .doc file that would not display was saved in .docx format and then again in .doc format, then it worked. It appears to be just a Microsoft issue with the noted work-around.

Thanks Tom. No, I don't believe it's related to that. I do think it has to do with opening a MS Office document from IE on a SSL connection. The process worked fine on my test server (no SSL) but fails on my production server with SSL. Based on the MSKB article I referenced above, there is certainly some issue here.

I would like to hear from anyone who is generating MS Word documents with AwareIM over SSL connection.
