You need to write custom Javascript forms using this library. This is described in the Programmers Reference Guide located in the DOCS directory of your Aware IM installation.
You can also replace the entire Aware IM front end if you are adventurous. To do this you need to use AJAX calls to the Aware IM back-end. The summary of AJAX calls is in BIN/dtd/web_interface.dtd. You can also look at the code of Aware IM front end that uses these calls. It is in AwareIM/Tomcat/webapps/AwareIM/aware_ext/aware_full.js
