Goodday everyone..

I have 3 BO:

Product, - Location, - Location Product (hidden to the user)

Product Data: A, B, C
Location: WH1, WH2

Location Product: Result

Product ......................Location
A................................WH1
A................................WH2
B................................WH1
B................................WH2
C................................WH1
C................................WH2

I have managed to enter a rule at the Location:
If Location IS NEW Then CREATE LocationProduct WITH LocationProduct.Location=Location

This will help to create a new row of LocationProduct, the Product Column is empty.

In the BO: Location, I have reference attribute of LocationProduct
In the BO: Product, I have reference attribute of LocationProduct

What should I do in order to achieve the above objective :roll: ?

I see what BOs and reference attributes you have, but I don't see what the "above objective" is. What is the question?

Assume I have create 2 WH already in the object.

Now the user create the Product A. After Save the Product.

I want to update the LocationProduct. The result will be:

Location................. Product

WH1........................Product A
WH2........................Prodoct A

So in the way, I can do the query for Product A, show the stock balance for each of the Warehouse. That is my objective.

But I do not know how to update the Location Product Object by calling the Location Object and Product Object together.

Using VB. I know how to do it:

Call Location
Call Product

Do Until Location.eof
LocationProduct.Location = Location
LocationProduct.Product = Product A
Next Location
Loop

I find it hard to understand what is written above.

What does the LocationProduct object signify? Why do you need it? Is it supposed to mean that a particular product is located in a particular location (like in a warehouse)?

If so, then why do you want to update this object when the new Product is created? What are you trying to achieve here from the business perspective?
Are you trying to say that whenever a new product is created it should automatically appear in all locations? Why???

If not, then what are you trying to achieve?

So when the client look at all the Location Quantity, he know where is the stock located. This is the client requirement.

The stock ledger for each product show the stock balance of each location. If there is no stock, show Zero.

Your recent post doesn't really pose a question, so I will go back to what the question implied in your previous post:

In AwareIM, you can do a loop 2 different ways:
1) IN BATCHES OF
2) Have 1 process call the other and while passing an attribute between the processes using Process Input

Surely to achieve what I think you want to achieve you will need a Transaction file that will record all stock movements into, out of and between warehouses.

So when you receive say 100 of item A you create some stock movement transaction. 1 transaction (TX for short) with +20 to WH1, 1 TX with +50 to WH2 and so on.

When you sell items you create a transaction with a minus (-) number so for example -10 from WH1

And when you move between warehouses you do a minus transaction from WH1 and a plus transaction to WH2

Therefore you stock at any location will always be the SUM of the referenced Transction attribute and you will always have a log record of all the movements.

If you need to know where your stock is you can create a query

FIND Transactions WHERE Transactions product=A, group the report by Location and then SUM the cost attribute to calculate the stock value
