Copying Documents from one BO to another

Here's what I think I want to do.

A Manager creates some Blank Form objects - let's say they are PDF fill-in forms using a document attribute - and adds them to a list associated with the organization. These forms are blank. I have at least one important attribute of the Blank Form object that needs to remain associated with the form. Because of this, I need to present the User with a copy of the forms created by the Manager so that when they upload the signed documents, the key attributes remain intact.

What I need to do is every time I create a User, I want to copy all of the Organizational Blank Forms to the User's Completed Forms. Both BO's are the same and include one Document attribute and a few other descriptive attributes.

So when I create a user, how do I go about copying each of the Organizational Blank Form objects to the User's Completed Form objects? I looked at DUPLICATE but it does not appear I can DUPLICATE from one BO to another.

A little help is needed.

I don't remember about DUPLICATE, but a simple assignment will do the job:

Object2.DocAttribute = Object1.DocAttribute

Yes, that part I can handle but I need to do this for each document object the user has created for their organization, so it's the iterative aspect that is difficult.

So how about the standard approach:

FIND ...
Assign documents

This will do it for each object that the FIND finds.

This is probably easier than I think (like most thing in AwareIM).

So after the Find Document, do I do CREATE Document NewDocument With... ?

I guess I don't get how to use the object in the context of the Find statement to make duplicates in another Object...

You do this:

1) Write a process that takes the original object as a parameter
Then it creates a duplicate object and assigns documents
CREATE MyObject
ThatMyObject.Document = ThisMyObject.Document
(ThisMyObject is a parameter and ThatMyObject is the object created above)

2) Call this process after FIND
FIND MyObject WHERE ...
ProcessCall
