message after a BO instance created ?

There is very little feedback when an instance of a BO is created. How can I add a message stating the the item was sucessfully created?

Create a BO using a process

Does it mean I have to re-implement 'Create' function by a process from begin? How can I use the BO's form I have defined in the process? Is there any simple method to only epecify the message after 'Create' button is clicked?

Your process will consist of two lines:

ENTER NEW MyObject
DISPLAY MESSAGE 'The object MyObject has been successfully created. I am really glad it happened in the wonderful product called Aware IM'

The ENTER NEW action will use the default form of the object and is equivalent to creating an object from the menu

Thanks a lot for the reply. It is really wonderful to solve the problem in pure BO creation. 🙂

However, I'd also like to use it with 'Add New' for adding a referred BO (child BO). In the default implementation of 'Add New', the form is initiated with Parent BO's value for reference attribute. But using 'ENTER NEW', don't know how to set the initial values for reference attributes using 'WITH'.

Is there any way to add a message stating the item was sucessfully added with 'Add New'?

Your process for AddNew should have parent object as a parameter. You can then easily initialise it like so:

ENTER NEW Reference WITH Reference.Parent = Parent
