Search Business Objects Function

Hi everyone,

I have a BO with 20 attributes.

When I use the ‘Search Business Objects Function’ in AwareIM only 10 attributes are displayed in the query result table.

Just to clarify – I am not running a query I have defined. Instead I use the default search function provided in AwareIM to run a query on all instances created for a BO.

The attributes displayed here are neither the first 10 attributes I created for that BO nor are these the first 10 attributes in alphabetical order.

How and where can I define which attributes should be displayed in this generic BO query?

I have created own queries and users will also be able to create and manage these queries.

My question is "Are we able to modify the result table of the generic BO search?"

It seems the attributes are randomly displayed. The attributes being displayed are neither the first 10 in alphabetical order nor are they the first 10 attributes I created. What is the logic behind the display of BO attributes here? And how can this be modified?

The system picks 10 attributes at random. The Search Objects functionality should only be used by administrators. If you want to define these attributes you need to use the functionality of the "User Defined Query" feature (only available in the Developer Edition)

Hi Support team,

thank you. That's a shame. I guess this could be one of the suggestions that could go on the wish list for enhancements in future releases.

The BO Search function is really powerful and it would be a shame to only make this available to Administrators.
