Hi,
One easy way I use to achieve this is by redirecting from the domain URL to your app login page. I created an index.html which includes a frame redirect as follows -
<html>
<head>
<title>My Aware Application </title>
</head>
<frameset rows="100%">
<frame src="http://88.188.111.8:8080/AwareIM/logonOp.aw?domain=MyAwareApp">
</frameset>
</html>
The IP and domain (BS) are configurable.
This allows you to place the index.html file at any URL you like and you can configure the login URL within the frame to redirect to whatever server you have Aware running on.
Then when your users browse to www.myawareapp.com, they are presented with the login screen located at your server for the correct app.
One word of caution (and it's only a small one) - if your users use Internet Explorer, you need to ensure that IE is set to accept session cookies and you must clear the browser cache the first time a user logs on - or they will receive a 'session timed out' error. If they use Firefox, Chrome etc, there won't be a problem.
I'm assuming that you can tell your users about the cookie oddity 🙂
Hope this helps,
Peter
