Pick From - Limiting Attributes shown to user

I have a process that allows the user to drill down using two 'PICK FROM' actions.

PICK FROM Roles_Query
PICK ONE OR MORE FROM RoleSkills WHERE RoleSkills.Role=ThisRoles
DISPLAY DOCUMENT RoleSkills_Document

The first uses a predefined query so that I can control what attributes are displayed.

The problem I have is that I what to use another query to also limit the attributes shown but I need to reference the selected Role from the first 'PICK FROM' which isn't allowed with an error 'rule '' uses business object 'RoleSkills_Query' which has not been found'

PICK ONE OR MORE FROM RoleSkills_Query WHERE RoleSkills.Role=ThisRoles

If I use the BO I can't indicate what attributes to display.

Have I missed something?

You need to define another query using query editor (MyNewQuery). The text of this query in the Rule Language form should read:

FIND RoleSkills WHERE RoleSkills.Role=ThisRoles

Then you define attributes to display for this query. Then your process should look like:

PICK FROM Roles_Query
PICK ONE OR MORE FROM MyNewQuery
DISPLAY DOCUMENT RoleSkills_Document
