Displaying attribute values and picture in VP banner

I'd like to show some values of an BO in the banner of a Visual Perspective.

I managed to do this for RegularUser.Loginname like this
<<LoggedInRegularUser.LoginName>>

That works.

But I want to use values of another BO like my 'Department'.
If it is possible, how? And can I show a picture attribute as wel?

I tried <<LoggedInRegularUser.Department.Name>> but that does not work.

Try using shortcuts to refer to the department. Plain references may not work here. Pictures should work.

I am still not seeing the ability to present any reference attribute in the Banner. I CAN present an attribute of the loggedin business object. But I can't use a reference attribute.

LoggedInBO.Name [Where Name is an attribute of the LoggedIn BO] - works

LoggedInBO.Name [where Name is a shortcut to reference attribute] - does not work

LoggedInBO.Account.Name [Where Account is a reference attribute] does not work - and I believe you have not stated that it will.

This works on our systems. Are you sure you are doing everything correctly? You need to enclose the expression in << ... >> tags

I can not display a shortcut in the banner using version 5 build 1412.

<<LoggedInRegularUser.LoginName>> works
but the following shortcut does not work:
<<LoggedInRegularUser.CompanyName>>

What I would really like is the following to work:
<<LoggedInRegularUser.CompanyLogo>>
where CompanyLogo is a short cut to a picture attribute.
But I can not get that to work either.

Shortcuts to text attributes and to pictures work fine in all our tests. You must be doing something wrong.
