Recurrence and references

I have a Appointment object.
For the appointment I made a reference to Participants.

When I use Recurrence, I see the Appointments appear, but the references are not copied to.

Some explanation:
I have an Appointment and want to invite about 20 people. This Appointment is every week on Friday.
How can I let the Appointment recur WITH the invited people automatically linked to the recurring Appointments?

It's a limitation - multiple references are not supported in recurring appointments. Use text fields instead - for example, enumerate the names of the invitees in a text field.

Well, thats no solution for my problem.
The reference is needed so a participant can see (in one list) which appointments are planned for him.

Is it possible to perform a FIND and fill the references with a CREATE FOR EACH or something like that?

How do I find the main/first Appointment BO where I can copy the Participants from?

Maybe I write a Stored Proc to do it, but the database structure of the Appoinment BO is not documented is it?

So why can't you have a text area for this field where every string for a participant is delimited by a new line (this can be easily obtained by one of the LIST_... functions)? This way the user will see a list. The only ability that you won't have compared to having references is to click on the entry to navigate to the selected participant.

If you want to see recurring appointments from the participant then you can use a special query to do this. The query will just check if the textual list contains an id of the participant or any other unique info. This can be easily implemented with a FIND or a stored procedure if you like. One note - recurring appointments must be "physical", i.e. stored in the database - otherwise, this query won't work.

I do not think that is wise to do (in my case)
What key should I use? Names can change, so I need a key. And how do I add/delete participants per appointment then?

And what if one participant is not available on one certain date? All the recurrence objects are deleted and re-created again when a Appointment object changes and so all changes are discarted that way.

For my case it is better to create every appointment one by one.
