Multiple configuaters

We have the Department Edition 60 user license.

Right now I'm the only developer. HQ is now worried about my being "run over by a bus". Can there be more than one using the configuration tool? If so, what's the best way to go about it.

You can run several configuration clients from the same server. This should be documented in the Installation Guide. There are also numerous posts about this on this forum

We have AwareIM installed on a VPS using the installation guide instructions. Can we actually install the configuration tool locally as a client using the server via a remote desktop connection?

All I can see is that has to be an "internal LAN". I don't see any explanation of how to launch multiple "Configuration Tools" in a VPS installation.

You can only run the Configuration Tool across the Internet if there is no firewall between the Configuration Tool and the server. So this setup will not work. You may need another license to install Aware IM on the server of your company for development and then use the VPS installation for production purposes.
