PROTECT Reference Attribute

I have a BO Invoices when the Invoice Status is PAID I protect the form from edit. How can I also PROTECT the LineItems from DELETED or EDIT once the Invoice is PAID.

I try this rule but it does not work, I am still able to Delete the line items from the Invoice

If Invoice.InvoiceBalance=0 Then
PROTECT Invoice.LineItem FROM ALL EXCEPT System.

LineItem is the Reference Attribute to the BO LineITem.

Rather than using PROTECT action, define applicability conditions for Edit and Delete operations, so that they are hidden when the invoice is PAID

I tried that, this is my condition

Invoice.InvoiceStatus='UnPaid' (Usage of Invoice is not allowed, attribute presentation belong to LineItem

But it did not work, it said that I cannot use the invoice reference. I also tried using

LineItem.fk_InvoiceLn.InvoiceStatus='Unpaid' and I get an error.

Usage of reference LineItem.fk_InvoiceLn.InvoiceStatus is invalid here

You need to define a shortcut to the invoice status in the LineItem object and then use this shortcut in the condition:
LineItem.InvoiceStatusShortcut='Unpaid'

It work, but when creating a new invoice it only show the Delete icon on the first record in the list. all other items in the list the deleted icon is hidden, I will have to complete the transition then edit it so I can see the Delete icon for each list.
