I am trying to deploy an app on a linux server
When the startup script is run, the last output from it is as follows:
Aware IM Server started...
Process status: Aware IM Server: Active and functional
Process status: Not started
Overall status: Aware IM system is active and functional

…but we can’t make a connection to it.

Any ideas where I can go from here?

in reading how to setup aware on a different server - the documentation revered to a "serverStarter.bat" which does not exsist.

can anyone let me know where i can startup aware according to the Installation Instructions page 24, section 1. task i?

Nina, the name of the file should be "startAwareIMNoGUI" instead of "serverStarter".

Dosca, your output indicates that the server started successfully. You need to look at why you cannot connect to it.

Yes that is my question the system is telling me "The WebPage Could not be found" the URL is "http://192.168.100.100/AwareIM/logonAdmin.aw"

Is that the correct syntax?

the correct syntax to get into the login page is

http://localhost:8080/AwareIM/logonAdmin.html

From outside your network

http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8080/AwareIM/logonAdmin.html

add your public ip addy and you can see.
