Trying to do the following:

I have a BO called Loans. 3,000 + records
I need to offer the user the ability to first, reduce the Loans subset based on various criteria. For instance, show Loans of a certain dollar value, location, collateral type, etc. The user needs to first sort and reduce the set to a reasonable number, then...
From this reduced set, the user needs to be able to select only records that they are interested in...it could be 20 out of 100, for example. I assume they could use PICK ONE OR MORE FROM...
Once they select those they want, they need to be able to "tag" them as part of a Group or Subset. I have a BO called Subset already defined, which allows the user to name a subset (automatically date stamps the subset when created).

Create a process that do something like this:

PICK ONE OR MORE FROM 'Query name'
ENTER NEW SubsetParam
INSERT YourObject IN SubsetParam.Subset.Members

This assumes that the query shows YourObject. SubsetParam is a temporary object which has a references to the Subset object which it displays as a drop down. Displaying this object lets the user select the subset to insert objects into. It also assumes that the Subset object has a multiple reference to YourObject in its Members attribute

Can my query ask for input from the user at run-time? Otherwise this looks good. I was missing the temporary holder object.

Also, do you still not have the ability to persist picking from multiple selections across multiple screens/pages? So if I select 10 items on my 11st results page and then navigate to the next page it loses my selections on page 1?

Query can support input at run time but selection over multiple pages is not supported.
