Reference Object Delete Function

I've created a reference object to my main business object. In the presentation screen I've set the "Add" function on, "Delete All" on, removed the "Edit" function and left the "Delete Item" function.

The "add" and "delete all" buttons appear under the table list of referenced object instances available. I can add referenced items to the main object instance and delete all but there is no capability to delete a single item.

I have others set the same way that do have the "delete" icon next to each displayed reference. They do not use the entire width of the screen to display as this new one does. Is that the problem?

Most likely the delete item operation is not allowed due to some protection restrictions.

There is not a single rule applied to the referenced object. It has the same settings as two other referenced objects. They show the delete icon with the "Delete Item From List" function set. This one, for whatever reason, doesn't.

Just want to be able to "add" the referenced object and delete it if a mistake has been made. That's the way the others work.
