Reports - Plain text attribute in HTML format output

Is it possible to display attributes set to HTML format in a report and have them output correctly.

I have an attribute (set to HTML format) and entered the following:

From the options below select one or more:

(Only applicable to full time employees)

In the report output to pdf I get

From the options below select one or more:<BR><BR><BR>(Only applicable to full time employees)

I can't see anything on the properties in the report to indicate HTML format.

No, you can't do this. PDF doesn't understand HTML.

Use a third party tool to convert Word to PDF and run this tool from your process. Then display the resulting file.

It utilises OOo (OpenOffice) calls to convert office documents to pdf

libreoffice (a break off from OpenOffice) also provides command line options https://help.libreoffice.org/Common/Starting_the_Software_With_Parameters for converting office documents to other formats such as pdf, html etc

soffice --headless --convert-to pdf C:\MyDocs\xyz.doc

You will need to install the portable version of libreoffice.
