Placement of custom buttons

On my forms, for the Buttons I have 'Place buttons at the top of the form' checked and for operations I have 'Above the form' checked. This puts both the form's buttons and the operation's buttons on the same toolbar. Is there anyway to put custom buttons on this same toolbar?

Just trying to get all of my buttons in the same area.

Don't understand the question. Aren't they on the same toolbar already?

What I mean by a custom button is an HTML button created with code similar to the following:
<button type="button" onclick="AwareApp.startProcessFromForm('MyProcess','main',this,true)">Save</button>

I can add the above code to a HTML cell on the form and it works great, but the button is on the form, not on the toolbar with the default 'Save', 'Close' and any operation buttons. My question is: is there anyway to put my custom button on the tool bar next to the other buttons?

The only way is to make whatever you are doing an operation. If you cannot do this, then the custom button will have to be on the form.
