Problem with Number value assigning to String

Hi,

I am using a plain text field to store a value. value is in number format without decimal.

But result always comes with decimal.

BOID Number
BOName PlainText

RULE:
BOName=BOID+10000000

Now here ID value is 2 then result must be 10000002, but it always show 10000002.0

I tried ABS function too but no change.

Is this a bug or i doing worng.

Try: BO.BOName=AS_STRING(BO.BOID+10000000)

but result is same it won't work.

Not sure why it won't work for you. I tested my solution on the RegularUser BO using the ID attribute instead of your BOID.

one more thing to tell...

my BOID i defined format by #000.

does this making some problem

tom it works correctly now....i removed the format part...#000...

now result is correct.. 🙂
