Is there a simple way to incorporate a Windows style help file?

We us an external helpfile software to produce html help and then just display it the way you would any other html file from within AwareIM. Other option we tried where PDF user guides but we found that the guide was to large for efficient display in the application (200 plus pages).

I concur. Plus Windows help is a mess. Microsoft invented it then decided it was too insecure. Now you can't use HTML Help across a network without a registry hack. Use web-based help and display it either in a new browser window or within a tab in your application. My tool of choice is Help and Manual (www.helpandmanual.com).
