Help with Swap/Select

Hi All,

I have a swap select box and it displays information, for example, description and price for which the user can select one or multiple.

Is it possible to add together the price for each item 'selected' and display it as a total in an Attribute on the same form?

And is it also possible to take the 'Selected Items' and display them in a Table on a differnt Tab?

Any help much appriciated,

Never tried that, but I guess that if you define an attribute and a rule that would calculate the totals of the selected items and make this rule "dynamic", it should work.

Could you please explain how to work out if the items are selected or not?
Also - how do you set the initially selected items in a swap select box (or checkbox list).
Are there any samples of Swap Selects available?

Selected items in a swap select (or checkbox list) are those that are stored in the reference attribute. For example, let's say you the State object and the Dealership object that stores a reference to the states it operates in - States attribute of the State type ("multiple allowed").

Let's say a particular dealership operates in CA and MI. The swap select will display ALL possible states on the left, but CA and MI will be displayed on the right. So attaching dynamic rules means that you just operate with values in the reference attribute - States in this case.
