Presentation, hyperlink, start business process & contex

We have built a simple comments/commenting functionality where users can post a comment against a BO instance. The comments are related to a specific instance, and instances also have 4 different categories. All good.

We have created a Visual Perspective with two panels, the top one is used to display the instance of the form details and the bottom one is used to show the related comments (as a presentation).

We have a separate presentation that we're using to display ALL comments ie related to all instances and all the comments across all categories. I would like to have a "read more" hyperlink on the presentation for each comment, that will take them back to the layout with the form details and the comments related to that form. I have tried to have a hyperlink that runs a process to display the layout with the form that the comment is about and the related comments.

BUT (and here is finally my question)... it doesn't seem to have any context when the process runs so the DISPLAY LAYOUT rule just fails.

Is there any way to create context for a "start business process" operation in a presentation? So when we start a process it knows what the instance is to open.

Or can we use a "Link to URL" somehow to make this happen?

In general, operations started from a presentation DO provide context. If you try to run a process from a presentation that uses an EDIT or VIEW action, you will be able to demonstrate that.

DISPLAY LAYOUT would not work the same way.... it does not pass context. I would need to know more about what is in the Content Panels of the LAYOUT to help find a solution.
