I'll use it for similar uses to RLJB - interaction with other Services.
The fact that you can construct the URL dynamically is extremely useful to me. And the ability to easily get a simple text return is convenient too.
I've been playing with the other intelligent service object techniques with some success, but have also tried to interface other services with Aware using Ajax. Unfortunately, the lack of documentation and the new interface made that almost impossible. URL calls have been the only successful communication with other systems that I've managed.
Probably just something which I didn't know about, but the CONTENT_URL will help me a lot.
