Calculation Problem.

Created a Bo called DebtorDebitOrder with BO Link to Payments2Creditor

When opening the DebtorDebitOrder form its link to Payments2Creditor allows you to enter different payments for different dates.

I created the following BR`s

1 > Calculate Current Balance

DebtorDebitOrder.CurrentBalance=DebtorGarnishOrders.InstallmentTotal-SUM Paymens2Creditor.Payment (Its suppose to add al the payments together then subtract it from the The oustanding balance) it does but doesnt calculate it correctly)

2 > Payed 2 Date

DebtorGarnishOrders.PayedToDate=SUM Paymens2Creditor.Payment

Seems it take all the payments from all clients & calculate it together instead of just calculate the current clients payments 2 date.

pls advice...

I need to say that i also added DebtorGarnishOrder & DebtorOther Accounts that`s linked to Payments2Creditor

Just to clarify. what type of link does Payments2Creditor have to DebtorGarnishOrder? Also what type of link is there between DebtorDebitOrder and DebtorGarnishOrder? Are these Peer relationships or is one owned by the other?

Is MultipleAllowed ticked?

If assuming DebtorGarnishOrder has a link to Payments2Creditor called Payments for eg. and can have multiple references. you would need to modify your rule like this:

FIND DebtorGarnishOrder WHERE DebtorGarnishOrder=DebtorDebitOrder.GarnishOrder [To put the Garnish Order in Context]
DebtorDebitOrder.CurrentBalance=DebtorGarnishOrder.InstallmentTotal-SUM Payments2Creditor.Payment (WHERE Payments2Creditor IN DebtorGarnishOrder.Payments) [This will find all Payments2Creditor that are linked to this Garnish Order]

Assuming the same conditions above:

DebtorGarnishOrders.PayedToDate=SUM Payments2Creditor.Payment (WHERE Payments2Creditor IN DebtorGarnishOrder.Payments)

DebtorDebitOrder, DebtorGarnishOrder & DebtorOtherAccounts form`s
Are all linked to Payments2Creditor via Peer - Multiple Allowed.

If i delete a DebtorDebitOrder will the linked payments entered also be delete; or must the Payments2Creditor be owned by the DebtorDebitOrder. if i want all the enteries also be deleted when deleting an Debit Order.

With a Peer relationship they will not automatically be deleted.
However If you add a delete rule to DebtorDebitOrder (If you look at the Bo in the object explorer you will see two types of rules, 1 When object is created or modified 2 when object is deleted) :

FIND Payments2Creditor WHERE Payments2Creditor IN ThisDebtorDebitOrder.Payments
DELETE Payment2Creditor

Then if a Debit order is deleted it will automatically delete the related payments.

My Calculations 4 my Debit, Garnish Orders & Other Accounts with Payments2Creditor is working.

Only thing is i used the Rules (when object is deleted)

FIND Payments2Creditor WHERE Payments2Creditor IN ThisDebtorGarnishOrders.LinkPayments2Creditor
DELETE Payments2Creditor

But if i delete my Debit Order the payments that i entered via Payments2Creditor stays behind.

Pls Advice...

Do you have a similar rule in DebtorDebitOrder as you do in DebtorGarnishOrder?

Yes & in the OtherAccounts Bo aswell...
