Hi,
I've previously asked a similar question about the correct use of OR but didn't really get a conclusive response. So here goes -
I have a query which finds records as follows -
FIND BO WHERE(BO.Country='USA' AND BO.State='California' OR BO.State='Washington')
By design, will this query return all BOs where Country='USA' AND State='California' plus all BOs where Country='USA' AND State='Washington'
or does it return all BOs where Country='USA' AND State='California' plus all BOs where State='Washington' (without checking for Country='USA' in the second instance) ?
My rules don't indicate any consistent evaluation of the OR condition, so I'd be glad if someone could tell me conclusively what OR is supposed to do.
Thanks in advance,
Peter
