tabbing through a list box

I have a list box with two entries, one or the other is set as a default depending on a rule. The default can be changed to the other entry. When the user tabs into the box the default is highlighted. When the user tabs to the next field the list box selection goes to blank. The setting is for the two entries with non other allowed.

This does not happen with list boxes with more than two entries. Any clues?

I can't make anything out on the log. But the problem has moved over to another field. I'm guessing tabbing into a check box that allows changing the default when set may have something to do with it.

Is there some sort of "no tab" option? In other words skipping a field unless deliberately setting the focus there with a mouse click.

I am experiencing the same problem, the only difference is that my list box has 5 entries.
