How would you go about using an API that uses the OAuth protocol to establish communication for data exchange? I am trying to interface to xero.com accounting system.

We're about to try it for Google Docs integration and also LinkedIn searches from our Aware apps - anyone done this and would like to provide pointers?

I'm interested in learning this integration as well. I need to integrate with google apps and freshbooks for our new business management application. oAuth seems like the way to go but I've never used their service before.

Considering having a go at oAuth for an API I want to try, only problem is I need a HMAC function to create an HMAC-SHA1 signature.

Looking in the User Guide, there isn't an AwareIM function (not surprising given it's a pretty obscure), so looking at page 50 of the programmers reference you can add new functions.

It's beyond my technical capability, any takers?
